Tran Le Van ('Van') 陈俪文

Tran Le Van hails from Vietnam and is interested in the Belt-Road dynamics of tourism between Vietnam and China. She also has keen interests in a range of hospitality subjects. Currently, Van is conducting a fascinating study of hostels in Vietnam's scenic Dalat region and its experience with the viral pandemic. 'Van', as she likes to be called, is also an undergraduate student at Sun Yat-Sen University's School of Tourism. The picture showed Van standing in front of Guangzhou's iconic Canton Tower.

Phiyatida Phruttipong (黄美美)

Phiyatida or 'Ji' as she likes to be called, is a Thai member of the team. generally, she is keen to study the formation, operation and implications of Chinese outbound tourism in Thailand. Currently, she is conducting research on the multi-ethnic and historic district of Kudi Chin in Thailand and the enclave's experience and encounter with tourism. She is an undergraduate student in Sun Yat-Sen University's School of Tourism Management. 

Pyae Pyae Phyo (黄正敏)

Pyae Pyae or Zhengming joined us from neighbouring Myanmar. At the Tour Lab, she is examining the phenomena of cross-border tourism between Myanmar and China. Specifically, she is working on a visual analysis of the Thingyan (or Water Festival) as it is celebrated and performed in China and Myanmar. She is an undergraduate at Sun Yat-Sen University's School of Tourism Management. 

Panida Sirisuwattrakul (Bell) 林淑清

Panida, or 'Bell' as she likes to be called, is one of the Thai members of the team. She has good knowledge of Thai tourism and hospitality and of the Southern Chinese city of Zhuhai. In the Tour Lab, Bell is looking at and examining tourism and hospitality relations between Thailand and Southern China. Specifically, she is currently examining the educational and career aspirations of international students (tourism and hotel specialisations) of Chinese universities and the effects of the viral pandemic. She is an undergraduate student in Sun Yat-Sen University's School of Tourism Management. The picture showed Bell standing in the peaceful and serene rural Thai landscape.

Ting Ting WU (武婷婷)

Ting Ting hails from China's Anhui. She has keen interests in tourism consumption, heritage tourism and spatial design of tourism destinations and will work at developing some of these niches at the Tour Lab. She is an undergraduate student at Sun Yat-Sen University's School of Tourism Management. She has contributed to gastronomic and cultural tourism consulting the team is involved in in Shizhu County, Southwestern China.

Li Shougang (李收港)

Li Shougang is a Chinese member of the team. He loves music and is interested in cultural and economic studies of tourism. He is also an undergraduate student at Sun Yat-Sen University's School of Tourism. The picture showed him sitting in the beautiful Yuelu Mountain Scenic Spot in Changsha. He has contributed to gastronomic and cultural tourism consulting the team is involved in in Shizhu County, Southwestern China.
